About Pastors Josh & Conswella Vanhook

Pastors Josh & Conswella Vanhook have faithfully led Word of Life Church since 2010. Originally from Kentucky, they now call Logan, West Virginia their home. Josh & Conswella were married shortly after high school, recently celebrating their 25th anniversary.

While both Pastor Josh & Conswella are passionate about ministry, it has not always been their vocation. Josh, formally an industrial electrician and Conswella, a cosmetologist, both received the call into full-time ministry while working with their church’s youth group in 2000.

Shortly after this calling, they attended Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma where they both received a ministerial education. While in attendance at Rhema, they became involved in the Prayer and Healing Center. During this time, they were able to witness individuals from around the world seek prayer and healing.

Pastors Josh & Conswella are passionate about seeing the church rise to take its place in Christ Jesus, with the goal of reaching the world with the Gospel. This occurs as each believer remains sensitive to God’s indwelling presence and the influence of the Holy Spirit.

Through their positions at Word of Life Church, Pastors Josh & Conswella encourage believers to act boldly in response to the Word of God. They believe strongly in the role of the church as a witness to this generation by allowing the Holy Spirit to demonstrate and confirm the Word of God. Pastors Josh & Conswella preach a bold message of faith and love to see lives changed through the impartation of the Holy Spirit.
